ABOUT MET-CET

Selection Process for this course is through MET CET which will carry a total weightage of 150 points.
MET CET will have two components: Written Test and Personal Interviews.

1) Written Test: 100 Points

(A) Verbal Section (25 Points)
This section will contain questions testing the Vocabulary and Grammatical Correctness of an average level
(required in daily communication). The level of difficulty will be akin to TOEFL Examination (www.toefl.org).

(B) Analytical & Logical Reasoning (25 Points)
This section will contain questions on Analytical Reasoning and Critical Reasoning. The type of questions and level of difficulty will be similar to GRE (Pre-1998) for Analytical Reasoning and GMAT (www.gmat.org) for Critical Reasoning.

(C) Quantitative Aptitude (40 Points)
This section will contain questions based on basic level (10th standard or lower) mathematical knowledge. The level of difficulty will be similar to Quantitative section of GRE (www.gre.org).

(D) Problem Solving Ability (10 Points)
This will be a subjective section focusing on the logical methodology of solving any problem. The test taker will have to give her/his answer in a step-by-step manner.

2) Personal Interview: 50 Points

The duration of the interview can be 15 to 30 minutes. Effective communication doesn't depend entirely on verbal skills. Confidence and Presentation Skills also play an important role. This activity will focus on measuring these traits. The questions will be general in nature, and can cover curricular, co/extra-curricular activities.
