Inventing a New Winning Formula!
MET IOP creates benchmark records and wins across all categories at the Rx festival

MET Institute of Pharmacy outshines over 14 pharmacy colleges from all over Mumbai at the Rx festival 2010 - an intercollegiate festival organised by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (Maharashtra State Branch) – Students’ Forum. This festival had various events like sports, cultural events, seminars, technical fest amongst others.

The Rx festival mainly aims at getting various pharmacy colleges together annually and developing a healthy feeling of friendship and team spirit amongst the fraternity. Being a conglomeration of such fine talent; various competitions are held, thereby displaying this talent and the best are awarded with certificates and trophies.

Rx 2010 was held over a week starting December 2009 at various locations in Mumbai. The festival started with the sports competition where various sports like cricket, football, throw ball, chess, carom etc. were held at locations from supari talav grounds to very our own MET Recreation Centre.

As part of the ‘Technical fest’ at Rx, MET IOP students also participated in pharma paper presentations, poster presentations and pharma quizzes.

The grand cultural events were held on Jan. 24th and 25th, like the fashion show competition and group dance competition respectively where the display of colors, costumes and choreography was simply outstanding!

Rx is a platform for various pharmacy colleges to represent themselves and carve a niche in the dynamic field of pharmacy. Winning at these competitions and even participating in them is a matter of prestige for the students as they get an opportunity to represent their colleges and bring home honor and respect.
And the students at MET - IOP were no less at that. They did represent their college and with such enthusiasm that most of the trophies were directed where they belong to - MET!!
