'Lumiere 2009' @ MET

Formulating Sharp Minds

The MET Institute of Pharmacy (MET IOP) celebrated its annual event 'Lumiere 2009'.

Lumiere is being celebrated since the past 14 years; it is a platform for the students to show their talents in the field of arts and sports. This year the sports events began a week in advance, whereas a number of cultural events like couple dance, prop dance, singing, debate, quiz, T- shirt painting, glass painting, and rangoli competitions took place on the 20th February '09. In the evening students and faculty bid farewell to the final year students which was followed by a jam session.

On the 21st Feb '09 a formal function was organised where the trustees and teachers gave words of wisdom to the students. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony and the release of the much awaited annual pharma magazine - 'The Nest'. It contains student, faculty articles and also chronicles the main highlights of the year.

The event was presided by Trustee - MET. 'Lumiere 2009' is a result of the hard work of the students' council and all the dignitaries found the efforts praiseworthy.
