MET receives Global AICESIS MDG Award
Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) received the globally coveted AICESIS MDG award at a glittering ceremony in Rome, Italy, on July 21, 2011. International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) is an inter-governmental organisation in observer status with the United Nations ECOSOC, striving to attain the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Winning State
In the event Maharashtra State U-7 Chess Tournament organised by Maharashtra Chess Association, MET Rishikul Vidyalaya student Aditya Guhagarkar from Grade II, won the 2nd prize on Oct. 3, 2010. He is also representing Maharashtra at the Nationals in Jamshedpur from 21/11/10 to 30/11/2010. A total of 75 students participated. Aditya played 8 rounds out of which he won 5 and drew 3 with a total of 6.5 points out of 8. Indeed he is a bright Chess Player who has won many other competitions. Keep it up!
