MET Institute of Software Development and Research (MET ISDR)

India today is at an important juncture. It has completed the transition from a predominantly agrarian economy to a developing economy. It is operating at the leading edge of contemporary technology. A key element in taking the country forward and maintaining its growth momentum will be the highly skilled and competent global IT professionals.

As per the NASSCOM survey the turnover of Indian IT industry has almost quadrupled from 361.8 Billion (INR) in 1999-2000 to 1275.8 Billion (INR) in 2004-2005. Its share in GDP has gone up from 2.7% to 4.1%.

The total number of IT and ITES professionals in India has jumped from 2,84,000 in 1999-2000 to over 10,45,000 in 2004-2005
– a record 250% growth. Of the fresh knowledge professionals joining the IT industry - 60% students are engineers with IT background, 23% are engineers with non-IT background and 17% are other graduates.

Along with the phenomenal business growth, the IT industry has become more discerning, expecting a lot from the fresh knowledge professionals.

MET Institute of Software Development & Research (ISDR) has taken up the mission of developing trained IT professionals. We are committed to deliver quality education to the IT industry aspirants. MET ISDR has been specially set up for providing quality IT education to graduates, equipping them to play a key role in the ever growing IT industry.
