MET League of Colleges has always attracted thought leaders. Globally renowned academician Professor Joe Mittlemann from Brown University, USA, visited India in search of great thinkers and where else could he find a better place than MET ? He was in India accompanied by his wife Mrs. Mittleman to feel the pulse of modern life, changing society and economy by meeting Business leaders and educationists. Incidentally, Prof Mittlemann is also on President’s Advisory Committee, USA.
He exchanged ideas and annotations on the education scenario with Sunil G Karve - Founder Trustee & Vice Chairman, MET in presence of Prof Vijay Page, Director General - MET Institute of Management and Brig M. K. Nag, Director - MET Asian Management Development Centre. He was extremely impressed with the infrastructure and the state of art facilities. As a result of this intellectual exchange, Prof Mittlemann has agreed to contribute to a specially designed module titled ‘Engineers for the Future’ for the academic purpose of MET. |
