Lumiere 2011

MET Insititute of Pharmacy celebrated their annual festival ‘Lumiere’ with a magnificent display of lights, talents and finery. To describe Lumiere, it is nothing but an exhibit of multi-talent in various fields of arts, dance, singing, skills etc. The two day marathon of fun-filled events – on 25th – 26th February 2011, preceded by a sports week all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by every member of the MET IOP family – teachers, students and the non-teaching staff.

MET IOP students got an opportunity to lose all inhibition and express their various talents right from their creative streaks to their knack to ‘formulate’ delicious food as ‘Master Chef- Pharmacists’ during the array of  Cultural events. On 25th February, they bid an official farewell to the students of the final year B. Pharm. A memento to reminisce their four year journey at MET IOP was gifted to each of them. All the students enjoyed the DJ session later that evening. Day 2 of Lumiere brought in other cultural events along with the staff bollywood quiz. Our Trustee members lit the lamp to invoke the blessings of the almighty to commence the formal function. The annual magazine ‘The Nest’ was inaugurated by unveiling the cover page to present the theme incorporated within- ‘Go Green’. Students of all years put up brilliant shows including various dance forms, plays etc. an event that proved that MET IOP students are much more than pharmacists.
