World’s Largest 3D Handcrafted Origami Peacock at MET

Mr. Vinod Chaudhary from MET Institute of Pharmacy has a different streak. It may sound little strange but this B Pharm student is interested in the origami as much as he is in the molecules and chemicals. He along with 42 student volunteers has created a three dimensional origami canvas measuring about 235 cubic feet, in which stands a uniquely hand crafted peacock using hand folded colourful paper sheets.

This gigantic peacock has 12180 paper sheets that have gone in its making. Passionate Vinod, began the work on 12th May at 10 am and finished it on 13th May 2015 afternoon, in effective 15 hours and 08 min. This 3-D origami peacock is magnificent, huge and yet beautiful. 93 x 112 x 39 cubic inches in size it is all set to make India proud with its entry into Limca Book of World Records. Believe it or not! See it to believe it.
