Prof. Vijay Page is an alumni of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) - MMS in 1968. He holds a Doctorate in “Special Economic Zones in India”. Joined DCM (SMT- MBA - I) and then worked with the corporate houses in the fields of textile, synthetic fibers, FMCG, plastics and fertilizers. He was a consultant to Tatas, Forbes, Kalyani Steel, Fomento Iron Ore Company, Hybrid Seeds/Bio-Agri Business companies besides agencies from Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Spain, France, USA, Costa Rica, Australia, Japan, China, Italy etc.
He has been a consultant to U.S.A.I.D & FAO and a visiting professor at Michigan State University, USA. As a CEO Konkan Development Corporation he launched new initiatives in the spheres of agriculture, dairy development, prawn culture, rubber/palm oil plantation etc.
He has been the Director General of MET Institute of Management focusing on Controlled Environment Agriculture, Bullock / Bovine Driven Power Generation systems, ground water recharge and harvesting.
