MET Utsav 2026, the mega annual cultural and sports fest of Mumbai Educational Trust (MET), themed
‘Mind Meets Machine’, reflecting the dynamic synergy between human intellect and technological
innovation, has commenced with electrifying enthusiasm. The campus has come alive with energy as students,
faculty, and staff unite in a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, intelligence, and
sportsmanship.
Embracing the spirit of innovation and holistic development, MET Utsav 2026 highlights the perfect balance
between analytical thinking and physical agility where strategy drives performance and teamwork powers
success.
The much-anticipated intra-collegiate extravaganza, known for fostering energy, uniqueness, and camaraderie,
began with the Inauguration and Annual Sports Day, marking the start of an exciting series of events. The fest
will continue with competitions, talent showcases, interactive activities, and engaging experiences, culminating
in a grand finale that celebrates collective achievement and participation.
On 11th February inauguration ceremony was marked by an impressive march past by students and staff, symbolizing
unity, discipline, and team spirit. The formal opening set an inspiring tone for the days ahead, encouraging
participants to compete with passion and integrity.
The first day of MET Utsav 2026 witnessed enthusiastic participation across a wide range of outdoor and
indoor sporting events, reflecting determination, focus, and competitive excellence.
The group games featured high-energy matches in Box Cricket, Rink Football, Dodge Ball, Volleyball,
Throwball, Basketball, and Ball Badminton. Teams from staff and student categories showcased
exceptional
coordination, strategy, and resilience, making every match engaging and spirited.
Simultaneously, individual competitions brought out sharp focus and tactical brilliance in Carrom
(Single),
Table Tennis (Single), Chess, Shot-Put, and Badminton. Participants demonstrated precision, mental
strength,
and composure, embodying the essence of the theme—where mind and action work in perfect harmony.

Day 2 of MET UTSAV 2026 turned the spotlight onto performing arts and personality-driven competitions,
transforming the campus into a dynamic stage of expression.
The Talent Show provided students with a platform to showcase their skills in singing and acting. From
soulful musical performances to impactful theatrical acts, participants impressed the audience with
confidence and stage presence. The event highlighted the depth of creative potential across
departments.
The excitement peaked with the Mr. and Miss MET competition. Contestants were evaluated on confidence,
articulation, personality, and stage appeal. The event celebrated individuality and self-expression, making
it one of the most anticipated highlights of the festival.
Day 3 focused on skill enhancement and experiential engagement through ten thoughtfully curated workshops.
Designed to encourage creativity, innovation, and practical exposure, the sessions allowed students to
explore areas beyond their academic curriculum.
The workshops included Robotic Bollywood Zumba, Mantra to Machine – A Sound Healing Evolution, Music in
Minutes, Sneaker Painting, The Adventure of River Crossing & Rappelling, Drone Workshop – Quadcopter Machine
Design, Aromatic Wax Sachet Creation, Mind Meets Machine: Move. Breathe. Reset, and Choco Tech Lab.
Each session offered a distinctive experience—ranging from high-energy movement and artistic expression to
engineering innovation, mindfulness practices, adventure challenges, and creative craftsmanship. Students
engaged enthusiastically in hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations guided by experts and
facilitators.
The day perfectly reflected the theme “Mind Meets Machine,” blending technology with creativity, movement
with mindfulness, and innovation with imagination—reinforcing MET UTSAV’s commitment to holistic and
experiential learning.
Day 4 transformed the campus into a vibrant carnival spectacle, where celebration met star power in a truly
unforgettable way.
The lively food and game stalls curated by staff and students created a buzzing fairground atmosphere.
Laughter echoed across the campus as participants enjoyed interactive games, delicious treats, and
spontaneous performances that kept the energy soaring.
However, the excitement reached a whole new level with the arrival of celebrated film personalities. The
presence of Darsheel Safary, known for his iconic screen performances, brought waves of nostalgia and
admiration among students. The campus then witnessed a powerful and graceful presence in Mrinal
Kulkarni,
whose interaction with the audience reflected elegance and inspiration.
The energy peaked further with the dynamic arrival of Siddhant Chaturvedi, whose charisma and
youthful
appeal ignited roaring cheers across the venue. His candid interaction with students and vibrant stage
presence turned the carnival into a full-scale star-studded celebration.
The celebrity moments were not just appearances—they were experiences that left students inspired, thrilled,
and proud to witness such distinguished personalities on campus.
The Grand Finale of MET Utsav 2026 concluded the six-day celebration on a magnificent note, blending
electrifying performances, prestigious recognitions, and star-studded appearances.
The evening opened with high-energy dance acts and soul-stirring musical performances that captivated the
audience and showcased the incredible talent across campus.
A highlight of the night was the presentation of the prestigious MET Ratna and MET Gaurav
Awards by MET
Founder Chairman Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal The ceremony honored excellence and contribution, adding dignity
and
pride to the celebration.
Legendary actor Jackie Shroff made a powerful appearance that electrified the crowd with enthusiasm.
The
timeless elegance of Zeenat Aman brought a touch of classic cinematic grace to the celebration.
Acclaimed
filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan inspired aspiring storytellers with his remarkable presence.
The musical dimension of the evening soared as celebrated playback singers Bela Shende and Shail
Hada
delivered soul-stirring performances that resonated deeply with the audience. Adding versatility and vibrant
energy to the stage was Chetan Shashital, making the evening truly unforgettable.
