Enthusiastic win at ALACRITY’09

MET management student Sheldon Nailer was awarded the Certificate of Excellence at ALACRITY ’09 – an intercollegiate summer project presentation competition for B-school students specialising in Systems/Operations, organized by Rizvi IMSR on October 12, 2009. The participants were required to make presentation based on their summer projects.

Sheldon’s project involved feasibility study and comparison of Sugar CRM’s best features & modules as well as 2 Java-based Open Source CRMs available today - Compiere CRM and Hipergate CRM.  This was in order to select the CRM that suits the technical & business specifications of iFast Financials Pvt.  Ltd. After the selection of the CRM, it had to be customized and a call module needed to be developed that would help iFast track and assign calls based on the requirements. Sheldon’s project helped the selected Hipergate CRM to be successfully implemented and presentation based on the same enabled him bag the award and cash prize. Congratulations!
