To bridge the divide between intricate corporate dynamics and theoretical discourse, MET IOM arranges Outbound Training sessions for newly enrolled students. A substantial segment of this training involves outdoor exercises that furnish experiential learning opportunities, aiming to cultivate essential interpersonal skills necessary for professional triumph.
In addition, MET IOM students are provided with the opportunity to tour numerous firms as part of the field visit project during their first year, focusing on the subject of Human Resource Management (HRM). MET IOM established its Center of Excellence (CoE) to help create a dedicated hub for specialized knowledge, skill development, and innovation. The aim of the CoE is to centralize expertise in areas vital to academic and professional offerings through focused resources, training, and strategic alignment. By fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and promoting cutting-edge research, MET IOM's CoE seeks to enhance learning experiences, drive industry relevance, and nurture a culture of excellence. MET IOM has established 4 CoEs namely – Centre of Excellence (Finance), Centre of Excellence (Marketing), Centre of Excellence (HR), Centre of Excellence (Operations).
