Educational Loan Assistance
The MET Trust also facilitates educational loans for students who have applied for PGDM programme and have
successfully fulfilled selection criteria by the institute
The Trust/Institute has collaborations with some of the well known nationalized and private banks to facilitate the
process of education loans in a shortest span.
Students seeking assistance in the matter of Education Loan can approach Principal / Director / Dean HOD or
concerned office for assistance.
The institute would support the application process for your loan by issuing necessary documentation like bonafide/
admission letters/ fee details and academic records.
The sanction and release of the loan would be at the sole discretion of the bank but the institute will facilitate
wherever possible to make sure students secure loans for their education.

MET (Mumbai Educational Trust) is registered under the Bombay Public Trust act 1950.
The MET Freeship is applicable for students who have applied for the PGDM programme and have
successfully gone through the selection criteria of the Institute. The primary goal of the Trust is to
offer education to students, especially from economically and socially backward segments of society.
In its aim to serve the cause of education, the management of the Trust gives a helping hand to
students who otherwise are left out of all schemes. In such cases, Freeship, at the discretion of the
management, may be awarded to students on criteria of merit, financial condition, and/or worthiness.
Mode of Function
Application
Students who are financially weak and not able to pay fees have to apply in writing to the Principal / Director / Dean / HOD of the concerned institute. The application must specifically indicate the desire for freeship stating legitimate reasons.

Verification Process
The Principal/Director/Dean/HOD can also conduct an interview of the candidate and confirm all supporting documents. On being satisfied, the authority concerned shall initiate and send the proposal to the management enclosing the application form, documents, and justification for the request.
Decision-Making
Freeship will be decided by the Management or an appointed Trustee on considering the proposal. The institute concerned will be informed accordingly and the Management’s decision is final and binding.
