Advanced Diploma in Mass Media
Specialisations in Advertising, Multimedia Journalism (TV, Print, Web), Entertainment (Film, TV)

Advanced Diploma in Mass Media is a programme that is specially designed to meet international standards. A practical, hands-on, career making course, it will catapult students into the lucrative and most sought after professions today: Advertising, Multimedia Journalism and the Entertainment industry.

Are you eligible?
Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 50% at graduation. Those who are appearing for final examination in April - May can also apply. However, they must produce documnentary evidence of having passed the examination, on or before commencement of the programme, failing which thier admission will be liable for cancellation and fees will not be refunded.

How can I apply?
Students can obtain the form and Prospectus from MET for Rs. 900/- in cash or DD payable at Mumbai in favour of 'MET Institute of Mass Media'. Or

Send us the DD of Rs. 900/- by post. DD should be in favour of 'MET Institute of Mass Media', payable at Mumbai. We will send you the form and prospectus by courier. Students need to fill-in the form and submit the same to the institute with necessary attachments.

Selection Procedure

Since there are only limited seats available, it is imperative that candidates undergo a rigorous selection procedure, which is designed to test not only their academic qualities, but more essentially their aptitude for the creative and constantly changing aspects of mass communication and media industry.
The candidate will be tested on his/her ability to handle uncertainty and the pressures of demanding deadlines and clients, and ability to demonstrate pro-activeness, initiative and creativity in finding solutions.

The entrance procedure will encompass the following:
1. MET CET
2. Group Discussion
3. Personal Interview

The management reserves the right to fix the minimum qualifying marks for each of these components/sub components and or change the components/sub components and their weightages.

Fee Structure
The fee for each certificate is Rs. 78,000/-. Fees are payable by A/c payee demand draft in favour of 'MET Institute of Mass Media'. Students selected for all three certificates will have to pay total fees of three certificates immediately at the time of admission failing which admission is liable to be cancelled. Fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

A state-of-the-art-laptop is given free to each student.
